We specialize in fishing in the Atlantic Gulf Stream for various fish species, such as Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Amberjack, Red Drum and more that can be found in these waters during the appropriate seasons. Our skilled captain and crew are passionate about fishing and committed to ensuring the success of every trip. Booking and policies

Cancelations

Deposits are refundable within 7days of the charter if party cancels. If a charter is canceled by the captain due to weather or boat issues the customer will also be offered at the dock your choice of either a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule the trip. Keep in mind that only the captain can cancel a trip so it's imperative to show up at the dock at the appointed time.

Outer Banks Fishing Charter Types

You’ll be casting, trolling or live baiting lines from a Classic Carolina 53’ Sportfishing boat that holds up to 6 passengers. Equipped with outriggers, down riggers and a fighting chair to crank in the big one. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is included. Reely Catchy is equipped with the latest tackle to handle all offshore and nearshore species. This includes Tiagra 50W and Penn 70 VIIS when specifically targeting Tuna on the troll. We use a mix of Shimano Talica 50’s, Tiagra 30’s through 80’s, Ocean Runners, and BFC’s for daily trolling use which will handle everything from Mahi, Tuna, and billfish including blue marlin. Our bottom fishing package includes everything from electric reels to lightweight Ocean Runner 12 II’s with Shimano Trevala rods.

For bailing dolphin we use high end spinning tackle that includes Shimano and St. Croix rods coupled with Shimano Stratic and Saragosa reels from 4000 a 10000 class.Additionally, Reely Catchy can deploy a green stick to target yellowfin when they get shy on the troll, an experience that is totally unique for most charter groups.


13 Hour and 10 hour Gulf Stream Sportfishing Charters

On full day trips, you’ll make your way through Oregon Inlet up to 40 miles to get to the Gulf Stream. These are the best trips for targeting big game fish. From May to August you can target a wide variety of fish, including Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi, Wahoo, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Bigeye Tuna.

8 Hour Offshore Sportfishing Charters

Eight hour trips are run within 30 miles of Oregon Inlet targeting Tuna, Marlin, Mahi, Wahoo, Sailfish, Amberjack, Triggerfish, Black Sea Bass, Flounder.

Six Hour Intermediate Charter (AM)

Start your trip early in the morning and enjoy fishing the rich waters around Oregon inlet and south nags head for 6 hours chasing the morning bite! Your crew will take care of all the fishing gear as well as licenses, so all you need to bring are drinks and snacks.

Six Hour Intermediate Charter (PM)

Start your trip early in the morning and enjoy fishing the rich waters around Oregon inlet and south nags head for 6 hours chasing the morning bite! Your crew will take care of all the fishing gear as well as licenses, so all you need to bring are drinks and snacks.

Four Hour Nearshore Charter (AM or PM)

These family type trip stay close to the beach. Expect to catch species like Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Sharks, Flounder, Spadefish, Black Sea Bass, Sheepshead, Croaker, and Spot. Your captain provides all of your gear and fishing licenses so all you need to bring are your favorite snacks and drinks.

The actual methods and species targeted will change all through the season depending on what is available at the time of your charter. Our captain regularly communicates with other anglers so that he can provide the best catching opportunties at that time in each season.
